As I lay down tonight and start to pray
there are some things on my mind
I would like to say
I don't know how to tell you
but I know you'll understand
you already know my future
because it's already planned
you see my tears are bitter and cold
inside I suffer and feel alone
but still I think you
for the people I so dearly love
thank you for the blessings
you have sent from up above
life is hard you know it isn't easy
but everything you give seems to please me
please help me to understand
and keep me strong
for you know what I desire
and forever long
so I'll keep on praying
even if it's a message or call
because I know you listen
you listen to them all
